Study Group Bagous
Since October 2001, there is a new study group in the CURCI:
The Study Group Bagous.
Aims of the Study Group Bagous are:
- Collecting faunistical data on the distribution of the middle European Bagous species.
- The interaction of the species with their host-plants and their biotopes and also their ability to fly are important parts of the investigations.
- The adult weevils, their host-plants, characteristical feeding-notches and habitats will be documentated by photos. The larval stages also will be taken into account, at least in some species.
